Position: Editor and Content Specialist

Educational Level: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Literature, Journalism, Communications, or a related field. A solid academic background and professional experience in editing and content management are highly desirable.

Additional Skills:
– Strong editorial skills with attention to detail. The ability to identify and correct grammatical, spelling, and punctuation errors is essential.
– Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and familiarity with digital publishing tools.
– Excellent writing and communication skills. The candidate should be able to write clearly and concisely, adapting to various styles and tones as needed.
– Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
– Knowledge of SEO best practices and experience in optimizing content for search engines.

Language Skills:
– Fluency in Afaan Oromo and English, both written and spoken. Effective communication in these languages is crucial for the role.

Job Description and Responsibilities:
The Editor and Content Specialist at Oromo Book will be responsible for managing and enhancing the quality of content published by the company. This role demands a meticulous individual with a passion for literature and a keen eye for detail.

4. Social Media and Community Engagement:
– Manage the company’s social media accounts, creating and scheduling posts that engage the audience.

5. Collaboration and Coordination:
– Coordinate with the marketing team to align content strategies with broader marketing campaigns.
